Sophia Eleni Emerges as a Leading Voice in Survival Storytelling Across Film and Games
British actress Sophia Eleni continues to build momentum across film and interactive storytelling, starring as Nadia in survival thriller Bone Keeper and leading the Tribeca-winning climbing game Cairn as Aava.

Award-winning British actress Sophia Eleni is continuing to establish herself as a compelling lead across screen and AAA narrative games, with major roles in the survival thriller film Bone Keeper and highly acclaimed video game Cairn.
In Bone Keeper, Eleni plays Nadia, a sharp, intelligent and resilient geologist who joins a group of friends on a dangerous expedition that quickly descends into terror. The feature film, starring alongside John Rhys-Davies, blends survival horror with psychological tension, placing Nadia at the centre of a story driven by fear, instinct and endurance.
The role gave Eleni the opportunity to bring a grounded, capable presence to the genre — a character who is not simply reacting to danger, but trying to understand it.
“Nadia is smart, practical and self-assured,” says Eleni. “She’s someone who uses knowledge and instinct to survive. I’ve always been drawn to characters who are resilient under pressure, and Bone Keeper allowed me to explore that in a really physical, atmospheric way.”
Alongside her film work, Eleni leads the acclaimed narrative climbing game Cairn, voicing and performing the central role of Aava. Developed by The Game Bakers, Cairn follows Aava, a determined climber attempting to become the first person to summit Mount Kami. The game explores ambition, isolation, sacrifice and the psychological toll of pushing the human body and mind to its limits.
For Eleni, Aava represents one of her most emotionally and physically demanding roles to date.
“Aava is incredibly driven, almost to the point of obsession,” says Eleni. “She’s tough, but she’s also carrying a lot internally. What I loved about playing her was the balance between strength and vulnerability — the idea of someone who keeps climbing, even when everything in her body and mind is telling her to stop.”
Cairn has already earned significant industry attention, including recognition at Tribeca, where the game won Best Game. Eleni’s performance as Aava has positioned her at the forefront of a growing wave of actors leading emotionally rich, cinematic video game narratives.
With both Bone Keeper and Cairn, Eleni is carving out a distinctive space in survival-driven storytelling — portraying women who are intelligent, grounded and pushed to their limits in extreme circumstances.
Her work reflects a broader career trajectory across film, television and performance capture, with Eleni increasingly recognised for emotionally precise performances in genre-led projects.
“Whether it’s film or games, I’m interested in characters who feel human,” Eleni adds. “I love stories where survival isn’t just physical — it’s emotional, psychological and moral. Those are the roles that excite me.”
As audiences continue to discover Bone Keeper and anticipation builds around Cairn, Sophia Eleni’s work marks her as an actress to watch across both traditional screen and next-generation storytelling.
