The Edinburgh International Film Festival (EIFF) 2025 has announced a new collaboration with UK production company UNIFIED, which will curate a special strand of high-profile industry events at this year’s festival.
Founded in 2025 by award-winning producers Amy Jackson (Aftersun, The Nest) and Lauren Dark (Beast, Night Always Comes), UNIFIED develops film and television projects and acts as a UK partner for international co-productions.
The Unified Series will bring together filmmakers and executives for panels, talks, and networking sessions designed to spark creative partnerships across borders. The programme will spotlight successful models for global collaboration and provide opportunities for new voices to connect directly with leading industry figures.
Festival Director Paul Ridd described the initiative as “something special and unmissable at the heart of our industry offering,” citing the founders’ extensive networks and proven track records. Jackson and Dark said they are “delighted to partner with EIFF” and eager to share an “incredible line-up” of events in Edinburgh.
Running from 14–20 August 2025, EIFF continues its mission to champion new film talent and strengthen its role as a hub for the global film community. Under CEO & Festival Director Paul Ridd and Festival Producer Emma Boa, the festival is expanding its industry relevance while staying rooted in its commitment to discovery and audience engagement.
